About "Film in the City Industry Nights"

"There is a general perception amongst the public that the art of filmmaking these days belongs to Wall Street and major studios with giant budgets. But the fact of the matter is that you really do not need millions of dollars to make an independent film. You can make a movie for a fraction of what most Hollywood films cost if the right people and film production methods are employed. However, if you want to make a quality low budget movie you must immerse yourself in the world of independent filmmakers."
